Liposculpture

Process overview

Liposculpture removes localized excess fat through liposuction and, during the same procedure, redistributes part of that fat tissue through fat transfer to areas where more volume or definition is desired, such as the hips or buttocks. This combination not only reduces but also reshapes the body contour harmoniously, enhancing your natural curves.

It is an effective, long-lasting option for patients who want to improve several areas at once, particularly when the goal is not simply to “remove” fat but to redistribute it for more defined proportions.

Goals

To remove and reshape fat in different areas of the body for a more defined, toned appearance that enhances natural curves and lines.

Features

  • This is a surgical procedure.
  • One day of hospitalization is required to monitor your recovery.
  • Long-lasting results, with proper weight maintenance.

Benefits & results

  • Significant, long-lasting aesthetic improvement.
  • Greater confidence and satisfaction with your body.

What to expect during recovery

  • Swelling (edema) and bruising in the treated areas, which subside gradually over the first 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Numbness or mild changes in skin sensitivity, usually temporary.
  • Mild to moderate discomfort or pain, manageable with the prescribed medication.
  • Slight temporary asymmetry while the swelling stabilizes.
  • As with any surgery, there are risks inherent to the procedure and to anesthesia, which are explained in detail during the preoperative evaluation.

Post-operative recommendations

  1. 01Compression garment — worn continuously for the indicated period, to support the reshaping and reduce swelling.
  2. 02Lymphatic drainage and therapies — scheduled sessions to speed up fluid reabsorption and improve healing.
  3. 03Limited activity — avoid physical exertion and lifting weight during the first few weeks; short walks are recommended from day one to prevent circulatory complications.
  4. 04Return to exercise — low-impact exercise can be resumed gradually as your doctor advises, generally between weeks 3 and 4.
  5. 05Hydration and balanced nutrition — to support healing and maintain your results.
  6. 06Follow-up appointments — attend your scheduled check-ups so your recovery can be assessed.
  7. 07Warning signs — fever, severe pain, redness or unusual discharge from the incisions should be reported immediately.
