Breast
Breast Lift with Implants
A procedure that lifts and reshapes breasts that have dropped through pregnancy, breastfeeding, the passing of time or significant weight loss, combined with a silicone implant to restore or increase volume.
These figures are for reference only and may vary by patient.

Process overview
Every surgery is entirely personalized: during your evaluation, Dr. John Malpartida assesses the shape of the chest, the quality of the skin, the degree of breast droop, symmetry and the patient's expectations, and uses that information to determine the size, profile and brand of the implant, as well as the most appropriate surgical technique for a predictable and aesthetic result.
Recommended for women whose breasts have lost shape and firmness through pregnancy, breastfeeding, significant weight changes or the passing of time, and who also want to restore or increase breast volume.
To achieve breasts with a rejuvenated, proportionate appearance, in balance with each patient's figure.
Features
- This is a surgical procedure performed in an operating room; anesthesia is managed by the anesthesiologist.
- Long-lasting results, with proper weight maintenance.
Benefits & results
- Improved size and symmetry.
- Greater confidence and satisfaction with your body.
What to expect during recovery
- Swelling (edema) and bruising in the breast area, which subside gradually over the first week.
- Altered sensitivity or temporary numbness in the nipple or breast skin.
- Mild to moderate discomfort or pain, manageable with the prescribed medication.
- Scarring inherent to the lifting technique (more extensive than in a straightforward breast augmentation, since excess skin must be removed).
- Risks inherent to any surgery involving implants, such as capsular contracture or implant rupture over the long term, explained in detail during the preoperative evaluation.
Post-operative recommendations
- 01Limited activity — avoid raising your arms above shoulder height and lifting weight during the first few weeks.
- 02Post-surgical bra — worn continuously for 2 to 3 months, to support the new position of the breast and the implant.
- 03Incision care — keep the area clean and dry as instructed, since this technique involves more scarring than a straightforward breast augmentation.
- 04Avoid intense physical exertion — particularly chest and arm exercises, until your doctor approves.
- 05Follow-up appointments — attend your scheduled check-ups.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to see the final result?
You will generally notice a visible change immediately, but the final result settles between 1 and 3 months after the procedure, and it does not interfere with breastfeeding if you are nursing.
Will the scars be visible?
Yes. Because excess skin has to be removed to achieve the lift, this technique leaves more scarring than a straightforward breast augmentation. How extensive it is depends on the degree of droop: it may sit only around the areola, or extend in a vertical or anchor pattern. Scars tend to fade over time and are usually hidden by underwear or swimwear.
Do the implants come with a warranty?
Implants carry a manufacturer's warranty against rupture and capsular contracture. The terms and extent of that coverage are reviewed in detail during your consultation, along with the brand and model chosen for your case.
